FROM THE MANAGER

Greetings all,

I hope everyone has been staying cool. The summer heat is upon us, which means the ramp temperature is often 60 to 70 degrees hotter than the ambient air temperature. I have recorded 165 degree temperatures from our ramp in the past. The reason I mention this is to help ensure everyone stays safe and hydrated. If you fly with any pets, please be mindful of how fast their paws may burn on the ramp surface. Our Line Technicians are always able to assist you with any needs you may have while visiting us.

Please join me in welcoming a new addition to the GTU Jet family. Stacey Lampert has joined the team as a Customer Service Representative. Stacey comes to us with a very impressive history of professional customer service. We hope you have a chance to stop and say hi. Anastasia De La Cruz has departed; she is pursuing some exciting opportunities. We wish her well and are sad to see her go.

Business has been strong here at GTU Jet. General Aviation seems to be enjoying a bit of a boom currently. Reading industry intel, GA appears strong in most areas including aircraft sales, fuel, and travel. We are planning to have a booth at this year's NBAA Conference and look forward to seeing some of you there!

Lastly, I want to apologize to any non-tenants that were denied 100LL fuel last Tuesday, June 15th. As the FBO, we are required to purchase our fuel directly from the the City of Georgetown and are beholden to their delivery schedule. The City ran out of AvGas and were unable to refill our fuel trucks.

We made the difficult decision to reserve what little 100LL we had left for our tenants. Having said that, our goal is to always provide the best possible service to ALL of our customers and were disappointed to be put in the position to deny service.

Please stay safe and remember to hydrate!

Sincerely,

Brad Lamb

General Manager
