FROM THE MANAGER
Well here we are again; another month has passed us by. As many of you may already know, construction on Airport Road has been in full swing. The intersection with Lakeway Drive will be impacted. I have been told the intersection will move east from its current location and will be controlled by signal lights. The road has been straightened and will include multiple lanes to carry traffic. This will be an improvement to handle increased traffic coming to Georgetown Airport and GTU Jet.
The City of Georgetown has not made any announcements regarding the search for a new airport manager. We will send out a notice once an announcement is made.
We continue to send out thoughts and prayers to the Utility Aviation family due to the recent loss of two of their pilots. An unfortunate helicopter accident took the lives of the two pilots. We wish comfort and peace to all that are affected by this loss.
As always, we greatly appreciate you allowing us the honor of serving you.
