July 2018 Newsletter

Greetings to all,

My apologies for the late edition of this month's newsletter. As you can imagine, time really flies around here (pun intended). I wanted to wait until I had more information regarding the upcoming runway maintenance project.

While I was out of town on business, Line Manager Don Powell attended a meeting with airport officials, project design personnel, and other airport business operators. The meeting's main topic was to discuss the repaving and maintenance of runway 18/36.

The airport's engineering firm, Garver, and airport manager Russ Volk spoke regarding the upcoming project. We were told that the contract is out for bid and will be awarded by the end of September. Garver and airport management are finalizing the scope of the project and timeline. We will be sure to pass along any information as soon as we receive it from airport management.

Any questions regarding the project should be directed to airport management at (512) 930-3666.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
