New home... new things to know.

We've been busy settling in at our new home at the base of the ATC tower. If you haven't dropped by to see our new setup I encourage you to do so. Our bright and inviting lobby is the ideal place to operate from, especially if you have guests traveling with you.

As many of you know, we're still operating our ramp at Building 1 too. When you call us to pull your plane from the hangar just let us know which ramp you'd like to launch from. We're happy to stage you wherever you'd like.

Parking is limited at the new FBO. If you're going to be away for an extended period, we ask that you leave a key to your car. We'll re-position it to remote parking, and conveniently return it planeside for your arrival. You're welcomed to contact us on our new ASRI frequency while inbound on 128.975 MHz. We'll turn on your cars air conditioning and stock it with cold water for you to enjoy when you land.

Upon touchdown at Georgetown if you specify "GTU Jet" as your destination ATC will direct you to our new FBO at the base of the tower. If you specify "GTU Jet east ramp" they will respond with clearance to the old ramp at Building 1.

We're planning an open house and ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of our new facility in July. It will be a fun and informative event featuring aviation industry and City of Georgetown leaders and VIPs. We have some ideas for special surprises that will make this an event you won't want to miss. Look for more information to come out soon.

As always, thanks for your business. We truly couldn't do it without you!

Best regards,

Ken Mabe General Manager
