December Newsletter

Time flies when you're having fun

I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone and we're on final approach for the Christmas holiday.

As I look back over 2016, I'm grateful for our customer's trust and patronage. Our outstanding staff who are passionate about providing the best possible service they can and spending time in between customers refining what we do from an operational standpoint as well as cleaning and polishing facilities so we look our best. Our management team at Texas Aviation Partners work tirelessly to support us and help pave the way for exciting new developments that we will roll out in 2017. The City of Georgetown who have grown to trust that we truly do have the best interest of the Airport at heart. But none of this would be possible without the ongoing steadfast support and confidence we receive from First United Bank.

As I alluded to above, we have exciting plans in store for 2017! We are working on developments that will lead to expanded service capabilities and make your GTU Jet FBO experience better than ever. We can't wait to share what we have in store! Look for timely updates on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Let me close by wishing each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday. Many of you will be traveling to spend time with family and friends. If you're using general aviation to get there, we will be here to support you any way we can. Let us know if we can do anything special to help you on your way.

As always... thanks for your business. We truly couldn't do it without you!

Best Regards,

Ken Mabe General Manager

It has come to our attention reports of several aircraft and hangar break-ins at Houston area airports. Thieves have broken into several aircraft and hangars and have been stealing tools and avionics out of unlocked aircraft.

It's possible that the thieves are flying in a night and looking for unlocked aircraft and hangars. Although not in our immediate area, we would like to remind every one to be be vigilant about locking your aircraft and hangar doors. Report any suspicious activity by calling 911.

We appreciate your help in keeping our airport safe and secure!
