A message from our General Manager.
Doing the right thing
We've proudly made investments in people, equipment and facilities to do all we can to serve you, our customer. Our investors are focused on being "good corporate citizens" and have provided the financial capital necessary to deliver the training and tools we need to do the job right. The reason is simple...it's the right thing to do.
The City of Georgetown has an amazing asset in the airport. I can quote innumerable studies that all conclude that airports are economic generators providing jobs and stimulating outside investment in the hosting city, county and region. A well run FBO is key to the airport delivering on that promise though, and we're lucky to have investors that can see past the initial capital outlay to invest in our community for the long term.
You've played a key role in helping us provide a well-run FBO too! Your patronage,
comments and criticisms help us refine our formula to maximize customer satisfaction for you and our transient clients. For that, I'd like to say thanks for helping us look good! I encourage you to continue to let us know how we can better serve you. I'd also like to ask that you post your good experiences on AirNav, ForeFlight or any other platform you use for flight
activity. If you have negative comments, please come by and see me. I'm always on the
lookout for ways to improve and learn.
Thanks again for your business. We truly couldn't do it without you!
BIG CHANGES AT KGTU
If you haven't noticed already, there is construction taking place at Georgetown Municipal
Airport! We have been informed by airport management that they are constructing a new
parallel taxiway along runway 18/36. This will relieve congestion in the vicinity of the hangers and the terminal ramp. It will also provide an alternative route to businesses located along the runway.
They will also be installing two large above ground fuel tanks - one AV Gas and one Jet-A. This is set to be completely by year end, weather permitting.
Trees will be cleared at the end of runway 11/29 and pavement maintenance will be taking place on all taxiways and aprons.
We are happy to pass along any comments and concerns you may have during construction
directly to airport management. Contact us at 512-869-0900.
GTU Jet's Building 3 is the perfect solution for an aeronautical company or flight department looking for an all-in-one solution. This hangar is perfectly located for easy access to runways, making getting in and out a breeze.
The adjacent 1,728 square feet of office space includes four (4) offices, receptionist area, and two (2) bathrooms (including shower). The 12,200 square foot hangar features large sliding doors (79.5' wide x 19.8' high), monitored fire suppression, and a compressed air system.

preferably anywhere that has a beach!
Fun Fact: Chris is a licensed Pyrotechnician (fireworks operator), student pilot,
